A motorcyclist died following a collision with a pickup truck at M-52 and Bennington Road in Shiawassee County Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities said the crash occurred around 1:20 p.m. when a 60-year-old man from St. Johns ran a stop sign while riding west on Bennington Road. He collided with the side of a pickup truck traveling south on M-52.
Emergency responders transported the man to Memorial Healthcare in Owosso, where he was pronounced dead. Officials have not confirmed if the driver or passengers in the pickup sustained injuries.
The Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the incident.
