🚛 Texas Truck Driver Sentenced for Fatal Crash on NJ Turnpike
Joseph Nyandwaro, a 41-year-old truck driver from Texas, was sentenced to six years in prison for vehicular homicide following a crash that resulted in a driver’s death on the New Jersey Turnpike.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on June 22, 2025, in Woolwich Township when Nyandwaro’s northbound tractor trailer collided with another truck, causing it to hit a concrete barrier.
The driver of the second truck, identified as Osman Aden, 40, from Minnesota, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Nyandwaro pleaded guilty to second-degree vehicular homicide in December 2025. State Police later tracked down his truck, which had been altered to disguise its appearance.
Prosecutors reported that video footage from Nyandwaro’s truck captured the moment of impact, with the driver allegedly laughing afterward.
