RENVILLE — A 22-year-old man was airlifted with serious injuries following a motorcycle crash in Renville County on Sunday night.
The incident occurred at 9:35 p.m. on Renville County Road 6, approximately nine miles south of Renville in Flora Township, according to the Renville County Sheriff’s Office.
Jacob Haney, of Olivia, was riding a 2003 Kawasaki cruiser westbound when he lost control after the motorcycle briefly left the roadway.
Haney was airlifted by Life Link III to CentraCare — St. Cloud Hospital for treatment, although specific details on his injuries were not released.
Emergency responders included the Minnesota State Patrol, Renville Fire Department, Renville Medical Response Unit, CentraCare Ambulance — Redwood Falls, and Life Link III.
The Renville County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an ongoing investigation into the crash. Traffic on County Road 6 was impacted during the emergency response and investigation.
