According to the GILBERT POLICE DEPARTMENT, the incident involved three vehicles at the intersection of Greenfield Road and Baseline Road. Emergency personnel reported that two individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby medical facility.
Authorities said the incident prompted the closure of the intersection while an investigation was conducted, resulting in significant traffic delays in the area. Towing services were on-site to remove the vehicles involved in the crash.
Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes as the investigation is ongoing, with no estimated time for lane reopening.
