Fort Hood Crash Involves Military Police Vehicle, Motorcycle, One Fatality Confirmed
FORT HOOD, TX — A collision between a Military Police vehicle and a motorcycle occurred on October 3 at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Camp Humphreys Road.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, one rider, a 24-year-old male, sustained fatal injuries in the incident. The driver of the Military Police vehicle was not injured.
Emergency response units, including Fort Hood Emergency Services and local medical personnel, arrived on the scene shortly after the crash. Authorities said the motorcycle was traveling in the opposite direction when the two vehicles collided.
Two lanes were closed for approximately two hours for the investigation and cleanup. Tow services removed both vehicles from the scene. The crash is currently under investigation by military authorities.
