Motorcycle Crash in Arlington Claims Driver’s Life
ARLINGTON, Texas — A motorcycle crash involving a parked vehicle on March 19 has resulted in the death of the driver, officials said.
According to the Arlington Police Department, the incident occurred in the 1200 block of Woodbrook Street at approximately 2:41 p.m. Both the driver and his passenger were ejected from the motorcycle upon impact.
Emergency responders transported the victims to a local hospital. The driver succumbed to his injuries on March 22, while the passenger, who was wearing a helmet, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators indicated that the driver was attempting to avoid an animal in the roadway when he lost control while traveling westbound.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased pending notification of next of kin. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
