LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A head-on collision in west Lincoln late Friday night resulted in the death of a motorcyclist, identified as 49-year-old Eric Supencheck.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the Homestead Expressway, north of Rosa Parks Way, at approximately 9:52 p.m. for a crash involving a motorcycle and a sedan.
According to the Lincoln Police Department, a northbound motorcycle crossed the median into southbound lanes, colliding with a southbound sedan.
Supencheck died at the scene, while the driver and three passengers of the sedan were treated for injuries at a local hospital, none of which were deemed severe.
