MANCHESTER, NH – A Bedford man died Thursday afternoon after his motorcycle collided with a tractor-trailer on East Industrial Park Drive.
Manchester Police responded to the incident near 344 East Industrial Park Drive around 4:08 p.m. According to authorities, a 2025 Freightliner, operated by a 34-year-old Manchester man, was traveling south when it attempted a right turn into the location.
The motorcycle, also heading south and directly behind the Freightliner, struck the rear passenger-side tires of the truck. The 58-year-old motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Freightliner driver was uninjured.
The motorcyclist’s identity is being withheld pending family notification. The Manchester Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact the department at 603-668-8711.
