A Bridgeport man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash on I-95 North in Milford at approximately 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to State Police, the incident occurred half a mile before Exit 34, involving a Honda Civic and a Yamaha motorcycle. The Honda was traveling in the left lane over the Moses Wheeler Bridge while the motorcycle, operated by 29-year-old Thomas Dapp, was reportedly speeding and situated between the left and center lanes.
Authorities stated the collision occurred near the hash mark separating those lanes, resulting in Dapp being ejected from the motorcycle and landing in the center median. He was subsequently transported to Bridgeport Hospital with serious head injuries along with additional injuries. The driver of the Honda, identified only as a female, was not injured in the incident.
