Four-Car Collision on I-95 in Chesterfield Leads to Multiple Injuries

Chesterfield, VA – A four-car accident occurred on I-95 southbound near mile marker 64 at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, resulting in multiple injuries.

According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, two individuals were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities reported that a total of five vehicles were involved in the collision, including a pickup truck and three sedans.

Emergency responders from Chesterfield Fire and EMS, along with local law enforcement, arrived on scene to manage the situation. A tow service was requested to remove the disabled vehicles from the roadway.

Traffic was diverted from the scene, causing significant delays in both directions. Two southbound lanes were closed for over an hour during the incident response and investigation.

The cause of the collision is under investigation, and officials are asking any witnesses to come forward with information. No fatalities were reported at the time of this release, and authorities are continuing to gather details.
