Three people died and a fourth sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle collision on Route 3 in Laconia late Saturday night, according to Laconia Police.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:00 p.m. near Funspot and the Looney Bin. Authorities said two motorcycles traveling in opposite directions collided, resulting in one motorcycle catching fire.
Two men and one woman were pronounced dead at the scene. A fourth individual was transported by DHART to Concord Hospital with serious injuries. The victims have been identified as Cameron Mosher of Dennis, Massachusetts, and Miles Collette of Gilford, both operators, along with passenger Jeanine Fereshetian of Laconia.
The name of the injured woman has not been released. Police confirmed that both motorcycles had an operator and a passenger at the time of the crash. No businesses in the area were involved, and it remains unclear if speed or impairment contributed to the incident.
Emergency response included Laconia Fire and Police Departments. The investigation is ongoing.
