One Killed in Motorcycle Collision at Van Buren Blvd and Porter Ave in Riverside
Riverside, CA – A motorcycle accident at Van Buren Boulevard and Porter Avenue on June 9, 2026, resulted in one fatality.
According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) logs, the incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. A 2021 green Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with a blue four-door sedan. The rider, identified as Christopher Tapia, 39, of Riverside, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 8:50 p.m.
Emergency personnel responded swiftly, and a coroner’s representative arrived following the fatality. The CHP has not released additional details regarding the cause of the accident.
