Motorcyclist Killed in Adams County Crash on East Berlin Road
A 22-year-old Gettysburg-area man died in a motorcycle crash involving an SUV in Reading Township, Adams County, on April 22.
Wade Small was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, which occurred around 6:45 p.m. in the 2300 block of East Berlin Road near Stoney Point Road, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Authorities stated that Small was traveling east when his motorcycle collided with the SUV as it pulled out of a driveway.
The Adams County Coroner’s Office ruled Small’s death as accidental, citing multiple blunt force injuries. Specific details regarding the number of occupants in the SUV or any potential injuries were not disclosed by authorities. The crash resulted in noticeable damage to the driver’s side of the vehicle.
As of now, no charges have been filed related to the incident, and an investigation is ongoing.
