POCATELLO — A motorcycle crash on Interstate 15 claimed the life of a 31-year-old man on Friday evening.
Tyeson Iverson, of Pocatello, lost control of his motorcycle in the northbound lanes just before 3 p.m. near the 5th Avenue exit, according to the Bannock County Coroner’s Office.
Idaho State Police reported that Iverson struck a guardrail before coming to rest on the right shoulder. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The northbound lanes of I-15 were closed for approximately 2½ hours as troopers conducted an investigation and cleared the area.
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation by Idaho State Police.
