HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. – A Denham Springs woman was killed in a motorcycle crash on I-10 on Sunday, May 26, around 5 p.m.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the deceased is Amanda Holden, 43, who died at the scene.
Her husband, Roy Dale Holden Jr., 39, was riding east on a motorcycle when a 16-year-old passenger fell off. Amanda Holden swerved to avoid the teen, causing her to crash.
Two other motorcycles also swerved in response. Two individuals were transported from the scene via ambulance, while two others were airlifted for medical treatment.
The incident is currently under investigation, and further details have yet to be released.
