Dodge County motorcycle crash leaves driver seriously injured after hitting guardrail.

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a crash on County Highway TW and State Highway 28 in Kekoskee on Wednesday morning.

Authorities said the incident occurred at approximately 7:40 a.m. when a 23-year-old man from Horicon was riding a 2012 Honda CBR250 northbound on County Highway TW. The motorcyclist failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Horicon Street.

The motorcycle crashed, falling on its right side and striking a guardrail. Emergency responders, including MAYVILLE EMS and Western Lakes Paramedics, transported the injured rider to Aurora Summit Hospital.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team is currently investigating the accident. Preliminary details suggest that foggy weather conditions may have contributed to the crash.

No additional injuries or fatalities were reported. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
