PELHAM, N.H. — A 32-year-old woman was arrested Monday after allegedly hitting a motorcycle multiple times and leading police on a pursuit.
Leah Wilson, of Quincy, reportedly struck the motorcycle at a roundabout on Windham Road shortly after 9:50 a.m. Police said the rider sustained a minor head injury.
According to authorities, Wilson fled the scene in a 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage after the crash, which left the motorcycle damaged on its rear and left side.
Witnesses reported Wilson’s vehicle was traveling southbound on Windham Road when it passed another car over a double yellow line before entering the roundabout.
A passenger in Wilson’s vehicle reportedly told police she intentionally collided with the motorcycle three times. Another witness stated they heard the car beeping before witnessing the impacts, which caused the motorcycle to tip over.
Salem Police located Wilson a short time later and initiated a traffic stop after a brief pursuit. She was stopped on Pleasant Street and taken into custody.
Wilson faces multiple charges, including reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and first-degree assault. She was transported to Valley Street Jail and is held without bail pending her arraignment in Salem District Court on Tuesday.
