Driver Rear-ends Cars Slowing for Crash on Loop 101 in Glendale.

GLENDALE, AZ (Local News Wire) — A multi-vehicle crash on the Loop 101 near 67th Avenue occurred Tuesday morning, leading to injuries and traffic delays.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS), the incident began with a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle at approximately 8:30 a.m. This initial crash caused a backup, during which a pickup truck rear-ended two vehicles that were slowing down.

Authorities reported the motorcyclist sustained an ankle injury but was wearing a helmet. It remains unclear if there were any injuries from the subsequent rear-end collision.

Emergency responders, including DPS troopers, were dispatched to the scene, blocking the right two lanes of westbound Loop 101. The lane closures resulted in significant traffic delays, but the blockage has since been lifted.

An investigation into the crashes is ongoing, and further details will be provided as they become available.
