A motorcyclist died in a two-vehicle crash on US 75 southbound at Midpark Road late Tuesday, causing significant lane closures.
DALLAS — Emergency responders closed all southbound lanes of US 75 at Midpark Road around 9:16 p.m. on May 12, following a motorcycle crash, the Dallas Police Department reported. The area remained shut down for several hours, with the highway reopening just before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Authorities confirmed the motorcyclist hit a concrete barrier and subsequently fell into the roadway, where he was struck by another vehicle. The motorcyclist succumbed to injuries at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained on-site, and no injuries to that individual were reported.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Dallas Police Department.
