Rider Killed in Miami-Dade County Accident on 158 Avenue and Kendall Drive

Miami-Dade, Florida (August 11, 2023) – A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a sedan Thursday morning on 158 Avenue in Miami-Dade.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred at around 11:30 a.m. on August 10 on 158 Avenue and Kendall Drive.

A northbound Jaguar sedan on southwest 158 Avenue attempted to turn left onto Kendall Drive when it went directly into the path of an oncoming motorcycle on westbound Kendall Drive and collided.

The rider was ejected and was declared dead at the crash site.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately established.

Kendall Drive was impacted between southwest 157 and 162 avenues.

An investigation is underway.
