Fatal Motorcycle Crash on US-6 Claims Life of 40-Year-Old Man
On Thursday, July 24, 2025, at approximately 7:01 p.m., a collision occurred at the junction of State Route 89 and US-6, resulting in one fatality.
According to authorities, a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville was northbound on SR-89 preparing to turn left onto US-6 when it failed to yield to an eastbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The motorcycle, traveling at a high rate of speed, struck the side of the Pontiac. The 40-year-old male rider was ejected approximately 150 feet before landing about 50-75 feet down an embankment.
Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist, identified as Brian Ezell from Helper, UT, dead at the scene.
Investigators closed the eastbound right lane of US-6 and the turn lane from northbound SR-89 during the investigation.
