DALLAS – A fiery crash on Belt Line Road left one man dead late Thursday night, according to Dallas police.
The incident occurred just before 11:30 p.m. on eastbound Belt Line Road at Meandering Way. Authorities said an SUV was stopped at a traffic light when it was rear-ended by a three-wheel motorcycle, which then caught fire.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The SUV driver was reported uninjured.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
