Motorcyclist Hospitalized Following I-15 Collision in Hesperia
Hesperia, CA (March 22, 2026) — A motorcyclist was hospitalized Friday afternoon after a collision on northbound Interstate 15 near Main Street. The accident occurred at approximately 12:07 p.m.
The crash involved a gray Nissan Altima and the motorcycle, which sustained severe damage, including a detached front tire. The motorcycle collided with the rear of the Nissan, which was heavily damaged but the driver reported no injuries.
Emergency response teams transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital for treatment of chest pain. The incident blocked the No. 1 lane, causing traffic delays extending back to Oak Hill Road until the scene was cleared.
Authorities reported that crews retrieved the motorcycle and moved the Nissan to the shoulder, allowing all lanes to reopen.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, according to authorities.
