BLOUNT COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — A fatal motorcycle crash occurred in Blount County on Wednesday afternoon, claiming the life of a Guntersville man.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) confirmed that 52-year-old Stevie L. Noblitt was killed when his Harley-Davidson motorcycle left the roadway, struck a dog, and collided with a tree.
The incident took place just before 4:30 p.m. on Hopewell Road, near Phillips Road. Noblitt was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities reported that no other vehicles were involved in the crash. ALEA continues to investigate the incident.
