CLEAR LAKE — Two adults and a child were hospitalized following a crash involving two motorcycles and a car on Highway 24 Sunday morning. The Minnesota State Patrol confirmed the accident occurred at approximately 11:10 a.m.
According to authorities, two motorcycles were traveling northbound when they collided with a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Anthony Peterson of Clear Lake. Both motorcycle riders, 40-year-old Jennifer Sackett and 38-year-old Benjamin Sackett, also of Clear Lake, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to St. Cloud Hospital. Neither rider was wearing a helmet.
A 7-year-old girl in Peterson’s vehicle was also taken to St. Cloud Hospital, with her condition unspecified.
Emergency responders assisted on the scene, but no road closures have been reported. The incident remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.
