A McCammon man died Friday afternoon in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 15 near Pocatello, Idaho.
According to Idaho State Police, the incident occurred at approximately 3:00 p.m. near the 5th Avenue exit. The 31-year-old rider, identified as Tyeson Iverson, reportedly lost control of his motorcycle, struck the guardrail, and came to rest on the right shoulder.
Authorities stated that Iverson was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Bannock County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity and notified next of kin.
The interstate was closed for about two-and-a-half hours while emergency responders and law enforcement conducted their investigation. The cause of the accident remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
