A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Missouri State Route N in Ozark County on Thursday afternoon.
The incident occurred at 3:40 p.m., approximately eight miles north of Brixey. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the 38-year-old male motorcyclist from Lafayette, Indiana, ran off the roadway, overturned, and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Emergency responders transported the injured rider by ambulance to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield for treatment. The MSHP did not disclose the name of the rider.
As a result of the crash, authorities closed one lane of traffic while they conducted their investigation. Further details on the accident, including the cause and additional injuries, are still pending.
