Motorcycle Accident in Brasilia Leaves Influencer Mom Dead; Father Dies by Suicide
A motorcycle accident on a highway in Brasilia, Brazil, resulted in the death of 25-year-old Karla Thaynnara Nogueira and the subsequent suicide of her father on Tuesday at 8 a.m.
According to authorities, Nogueira lost control of her motorcycle and collided with another vehicle, causing her to fall into the roadway. A truck driver, despite efforts to avoid her, subsequently struck Nogueira.
Her father, Jose Carlos Andrade Nogueira, an ex-police officer, discovered his daughter at the scene and later took his own life, as confirmed by a police spokesperson.
Karla was a social media influencer with nearly 60,000 Instagram followers, regularly sharing fitness-related content. She leaves behind a 7-year-old daughter, who was often featured in her posts. Both were set to be buried today.
Investigators are examining the circumstances of the crash. No details regarding lane closures or tows have been released.
