Justin Maxwell Killed in Roseburg Accident at Melrose Road
Roseburg, Oregon (August 26, 2023) – Authorities responded Thursday evening to a deadly motorcycle crash in Roseburg.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said Justin Allen Maxwell, 34, of Roseburg, died after an accident in the 4800 block of Melrose Road at around 4 p.m. on August 24.
According to a police report, Maxwell was speeding his 2020 Suzuki GSX motorcycle west on Old Melrose Road when it collided with a 2014 Toyota, making a left turn into a residential driveway.
Maxwell died at the scene.
The car’s driver, Steven Gordon Soper, 69, of Roseburg, was not injured.
