FINNEY COUNTY—A 44-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident at approximately 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in Finney County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, James G. Huband of Congress was riding a 2012 Harley Davidson Electra southbound on S. Holcomb Lane near West Crist Road, four miles south of West River Road.
Authorities reported that the motorcycle veered into the northbound lane during a curve, left the roadway, and crashed into a field after losing control.
Huband was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet, the KHP confirmed.
