A Lebanon man suffered serious injuries after a motorcycle crash on Highway 17, approximately four miles north of Roby, on Saturday.
The incident occurred at around 2:41 p.m. when the 2022 Harley Davidson he was operating hit a missing section of the roadway. Authorities reported that the motorcycle veered off the right side of the highway, overturning and ejecting the rider.
The man was airlifted to Cox South in Springfield for medical treatment. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. Lane closures were implemented to facilitate the emergency response.
