JACKSONVILLE, Texas — A 50-year-old man died following a motorcycle accident on Loop 456 on Friday, according to local authorities.
Bradley Gene McGuire was involved in a collision with an SUV around 4:24 p.m. while riding his motorcycle. The SUV was exiting Pebble Brook Apartments onto Loop 456 when the incident occurred, said Amanda Bragg, spokesperson for the Jacksonville Police Department.
McGuire was struck by the SUV traveling southbound, resulting in his ejection from the motorcycle. He sustained severe injuries and was transported by medical helicopter to a Tyler hospital, where he later died.
The SUV driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, according to officials. No charges have been filed as of now.
