Motorcycle Accident Claims Life of Tilden Man
TILDEN, NE—Lucas E. Nygren, 34, died in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, June 26, 2021, near Elgin, NE.
Authorities confirmed that Nygren was involved in a crash while participating in a poker run with his wife. The exact circumstances of the accident remain under investigation. Emergency responders pronounced Nygren dead at the scene.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Levander Funeral Home in Newman Grove, NE, is handling the arrangements.
Nygren was born on June 10, 1987, in Norfolk, NE. He graduated from Newman Grove High School in 2006 and was engaged in woodworking and construction as a partner at A&E Builders.
He is survived by his wife, Ciera, and three children: Jacob, Everley, and Charlotte. Additional survivors include his mother, Shari Auge of Newman Grove; father and stepmother, Dean and Lori Nygren of Newman Grove; and brother, Jared Nygren of Humphrey.
Nygren is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
