LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A 24-year-old man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a motorcycle crash at 84th and O Streets on Tuesday at approximately 12 p.m.
Authorities said the incident occurred when a Ford Explorer, driven by a 57-year-old woman, turned left onto Russwood Parkway, colliding with the motorcycle traveling west on O Street. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital, while the driver of the Explorer sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
No citations have been issued, and the investigation remains open as authorities seek to determine contributing factors in the crash.
This follows a separate incident on Saturday, where a 19-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on O Street. Police continue to search for the driver involved in that incident.
