LEBANON, Ind. (WLFI) — A motorcycle crash at the intersection of State Road 39 and Anderson Lane on Monday night resulted in one fatality and one critical injury.
The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m., when the motorcycle collided with a utility pole. First responders worked to free two individuals trapped between the motorcycle and the pole.
The motorcycle operator, 45-year-old Larry T. Lane, was transported to Witham Memorial Hospital and later airlifted to an Indianapolis-area hospital in critical condition. His passenger, 38-year-old Nicole C. King of Lebanon, was pronounced dead at Witham Memorial Hospital.
The Lebanon Police Department’s CRASH Team is conducting an investigation, which remains ongoing. No additional details about the crash have been confirmed at this time.
