SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. —
A crash on Reidville Road near Burns Road resulted in one fatality on March 14 at approximately 8:32 p.m.
According to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway, a 48-year-old man was driving west on Reidville Road when his sport bike veered off the roadway and struck a ditch. The driver, identified as Tommy Joe Trujillo of Simpsonville, was transported to Spartanburg Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 9:30 p.m.
Authorities confirmed that the South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
