Fly Creek, NY — On July 31, 2026, at approximately 10:28 a.m., a motorcycle crash led to the arrest of a 42-year-old man in Otsego County.
According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to a report of a motorcycle accident on State Highway 28. Upon arrival, they found a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle in a ditch with Michael Scott Hudy, of Liverpool, standing nearby.
While interviewing Hudy, Troopers observed signs of impairment and conducted an investigation. He was subsequently arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Impaired by Drugs, a misdemeanor.
Hudy was transported to SP Richfield Springs for processing and issued appearance tickets. He is scheduled to appear in Otsego Town Court on October 21, 2026.
The Cooperstown Police Department assisted Troopers at the scene.
