PAYNESVILLE (WJON News) — A motorcycle crash on Highway 23 in Stearns County injured one rider on Tuesday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports the incident occurred at approximately 8:00 p.m. in Paynesville Township.
According to authorities, 24-year-old Ethan Wunsch of Paynesville lost control while traveling eastbound and collided with the median.
Wunsch was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to Paynesville Hospital for treatment.
Emergency responders remained on the scene following the crash, but there have been no reports of additional vehicles or injuries involved.
The roadway was not closed during the response, and an investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
