WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) — A fatal crash involving a UTV and another vehicle occurred Thursday evening on Highway 15 North, resulting in one death and one injury.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened around 5:54 p.m. in the 10000 block of Highway 15 North.
The crash involved a side-by-side UTV traveling south that crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle heading north.
The driver of the UTV was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.
Authorities have advised residents to avoid the area and use alternate routes. Georgia State Patrol (GSP) is investigating the incident.
