HOLLADAY, Utah (KUTV) — Two individuals were hospitalized following a motorcycle crash on Interstate 215 in Salt Lake County at approximately 3:30 p.m.
A male and female were riding a motorcycle when the operator lost control and collided with a median near S 2300 E, according to Cpl. Jared Heywood with the Utah Highway Patrol.
Both riders were transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Their identities have not been released.

Three of four lanes on I-215 were closed during the response, with traffic limited to the right lane, causing significant delays in the area.
Initial estimates indicated that the roadway might reopen by 4:30 p.m.; however, Heywood noted that full clearance could take until 6 p.m.
