EAST GREENWICH, R.I. (WJAR) — A motorcycle crash occurred on South County Trail (Route 2) in East Greenwich on Tuesday evening, resulting in traffic disruptions.
The incident, reported around 6:45 p.m., prompted the closure of the westbound lane, with traffic being redirected onto Sleepy Hollow Road. The eastbound lane has since reopened.
According to emergency responders, the motorcycle operator was transported to Rhode Island Hospital. The extent of the injuries has not been disclosed.
