18-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies After I-805 Crash in University City
University City, CA (March 24, 2026) — An 18-year-old motorcyclist, Alexander Charmoli of Apache Junction, AZ, died in a crash on I-805 Thursday afternoon.
Authorities said Charmoli was riding his motorcycle southbound near Eastgate Mall at approximately 4:30 p.m. when he collided with a car. Emergency responders transported him to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
