FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — A motorcycle crash involving a car occurred at the intersection of Leesburg Pike and Patrick Henry Drive on Thursday night.
The motorcyclist sustained severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital, according to Fairfax County Police. The driver of the dark-colored SUV fled the scene.
Authorities are investigating the incident and encourage witnesses to contact them with information. One eastbound lane of Leesburg Pike remains closed as the investigation continues.
