ARLINGTON, Texas – A motorcycle crash on Woodbrook Street resulted in one fatality and one injury on March 19, according to Arlington Police.
Officers responded to the crash involving a motorcycle and a parked vehicle in the 1200 block of Woodbrook Street. Two individuals were ejected from the motorcycle and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The motorcyclist succumbed to injuries on March 22, while the passenger, who was wearing a helmet, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities stated that initial investigations indicated the motorcyclist may have swerved to avoid an animal on the road, leading to the loss of control and subsequent crash.
The identities of those involved have not been disclosed by police.
