Motorcyclist Dies in Central North Dakota Crash.

MORTON COUNTY, N.D. — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Highway 49 Tuesday afternoon, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred at approximately 5 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time, between Glen Ullin and Elgin. A 52-year-old man from Carson was riding southbound when he reportedly failed to negotiate a curve, leading to his motorcycle leaving the roadway. He was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities confirmed that the investigation into the crash is ongoing. Emergency responders included the Morton County Sheriff’s Office, Glen Ullin Fire and Rescue, and Glen Ullin Ambulance.

Highway 49 was temporarily impacted as crews managed the scene. Glen Ullin is located 54 miles west of Bismarck.
