PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. —
A fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck occurred Friday night around 8:20 p.m. in downtown Plattsburgh.
According to the Plattsburgh Police Department, a 2006 Honda motorcycle collided with a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. The motorcycle operator, 21-year-old Ronnie Gamble III, was taken to CVPH, where he was pronounced dead after unsuccessful life-saving efforts.
Authorities reported that Gamble was traveling west at an undetermined speed when he struck the side of the northbound truck at an intersection. The truck driver was uninjured and released after speaking with police.
