SPANISH FORK, Utah (KUTV) — Northbound traffic on Spanish Fork Canyon was diverted at Thistle Junction following a fatal motorcycle crash on September 16.
According to Utah Highway Patrol, a vehicle turning from US-89 onto westbound Highway 6 collided with an eastbound motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was ejected from the vehicle and subsequently died from their injuries.
Authorities reported that northbound traffic on Highway 89 was redirected to westbound US-6, while one lane of eastbound Highway 6 was closed during the incident response.
No additional injuries were reported, and the crash remains under investigation.
