HAMPTON — A 20-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning on I-64, according to Virginia State Police.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:33 a.m. on I-64 westbound near Big Bethel Road. It involved two motorcycles.
Victim Marlo B. Tubikanec of Newport News lost control of his motorcycle. Authorities said he was struck by another motorcycle operated by 49-year-old James N. Marketh of Chester, Virginia. Tubikanec was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released by state police.
