CLAY COUNTY, Mo. —
A 53-year-old Minnesota man was killed in a motorcycle crash on southbound Interstate 35 in Clay County, Missouri, on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the motorcycle traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a guardrail. The rider was ejected and found in the left lane, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
All lanes of southbound I-35 were closed near Pleasant Valley Road as troopers conducted their investigation.
