LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A 44-year-old Henderson man died Sunday morning in a motorcycle crash on Northshore Road in Clark County, according to Nevada State Police.
The incident occurred around 8:50 a.m. on State Route 167 at mile marker 16, where the motorcycle reportedly lost control.
A preliminary investigation indicated that a red 2024 Ducati Panigale was traveling northbound in the No. 1 lane when the rider, Nicholas Sean Miller, was navigating a curve at high speed.
The motorcycle veered off the roadway, overturned, and ejected Miller into a desert area west of the highway.
The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Major Incident Reconstruction Team is conducting the investigation.
Authorities reported that Highway Patrol Southern Command has handled 17 fatal crashes resulting in 20 fatalities so far in 2026.
